Atlantic 'Posse' launched
A new transatlantic rally concept, the Atlantic Posse. has been launched for 2022-2023. "The concept is to enable our participants to make decisions based on good weather conditions not on time," explains founder Captain Dietmar. Organisers are anticipating 50-75 yachts, the rally will cover 5.400 nautical miles. An eastbound route offers a similar arrangement for yachts sailing from the Caribbean via Bermuda and the Azores to Lisbon. See more at atlanticposse.corn

About Tracking:
This page is designed to give interesting parties an overview. For specific vessel details including their floatplan, latest updates, changes, positions and specific location related questions please contact each vessel directly. The Panama Posse is not responsible for the accuracy, frequency or validity of any individual vessel’s report. This report is not accurate. Due to privacy we do not provide vessel contact information. You may track vessels via it’s own tracker or request AIS tracking from https://www.marinetraffic.com/ please note that this is also not accurate. There are many reasons why a vessel’s position is not updated and please do not conclude that a vessel has an emergency or is in need of assistance because it has not reported in lately. Sometimes they may just want to get away from it all and not tell you where they are. It is the responsibility of each vessel to file a float and check in plan and escalation procedures.
